Program Director
Program Director
We are looking for an experienced and people-oriented Program Director to lead a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers within our EMEA PMO structure. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects across assigned brands, retailers, and key client accounts.
This position combines strategic leadership, operational excellence, and team development. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations, while also driving continuous improvement and strengthening project management standards across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers across multiple projects and client accounts
- Oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations are consistently met
- Allocate projects and responsibilities across the team based on business needs, capabilities, and development opportunities
- Conduct regular performance reviews, one-to-one meetings, and provide ongoing feedback and support to team members
- Act as the main escalation point for complex project challenges and support teams in problem-solving and decision-making
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Design, Engineering, Development, and Production teams to ensure effective communication and project alignment
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables across the portfolio
- Review and assess incoming project briefs to ensure feasibility, quality, and alignment with operational standards
- Drive PMO best practices, process improvements, and standardisation across the organisation
- Ensure accurate and timely project documentation and system updates
- Represent the PMO team in cross-functional and client-facing meetings
- Support resource planning, team effectiveness, and operational efficiency
- Approve and manage vacation schedules and personal leave within the team

What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project management, including experience managing complex client-facing projects
- At least 2–4 years of people management and leadership experience
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, retail, POS, engineering, or production environment will be highly valued
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Experience working with project management tools and MS Office Suite
- Cost estimating experience will be considered an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally
