π PMO Lead | London, UK
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised PMO Lead to support the successful delivery of strategically important programmes within a secure and fast-paced environment.
This role is ideal for a PMO professional who thrives on bringing structure, governance, reporting excellence, and operational control to complex projects. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring project teams are equipped with the right processes, tools, reporting mechanisms, and controls to deliver outcomes effectively and efficiently.
Working alongside Project Managers, Delivery Leads, and key stakeholders, you will act as the focal point for project governance, risk management, reporting, resource coordination, and project administration.
Location: London, UK
Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required

Key Responsibilities
π Project Governance & Controls
- Drive adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
- Review project progress and proactively identify potential risks, issues, or delivery concerns.
- Support project assurance activities and maintain governance compliance.
- Facilitate project audits and quality reviews where required.
π Reporting & Performance Management
- Produce accurate and insightful project status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Monitor project KPIs and provide analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Generate progress, budget, resource, and cost reports for stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Maintain project schedules and reporting calendars.

β οΈ Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Maintain and monitor RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues & Dependencies) logs.
- Track actions and ensure timely resolution and escalation where necessary.
- Support and administer change control processes.
- Provide regular governance updates and exception reporting.
π€ Project Coordination & Support
- Coordinate project meetings, steering committees, and governance boards.
- Prepare agendas, record minutes, and track follow-up actions.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained, accessible, and compliant.
- Support project onboarding and offboarding activities.
π₯ Resource & Operational Management
- Coordinate project resource requirements and allocation tracking.
- Manage infrastructure and access provisioning for project team members.
- Liaise with internal support teams to ensure project readiness.
- Assist with project budget monitoring and financial administration.
What We're Looking For
- β Proven experience working within a PMO, Project Support, Project Controls, or Project Coordination function.
- β Strong knowledge of project management governance frameworks, methodologies, and lifecycle management.
- β Hands-on experience with project planning and reporting tools such as:
- MS Project
- Jira
- Confluence
- Microsoft Office Suite
- SharePoint
- β Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- β Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- β Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- β Experience supporting large-scale technology, digital transformation, or business change programmes.
- β Understanding of IT infrastructure, software, and technology environments is beneficial.
- β Active SC Clearance is essential.
