Programme Manager – Bids
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Programme Manager to lead complex business transformation initiatives and strategic bid programmes within a highly regulated environment.
You'll take ownership of the full programme and bid lifecycle, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful proposals, drive business growth, and ensure programmes are executed on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead strategic programmes and end-to-end bid activities.
- Manage programme budgets, risks, opportunities, and delivery plans.
- Work closely with internal teams, customers, and partners to achieve successful outcomes.
- Support long-term business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across technical and commercial functions.

What we're looking for:
- Proven programme management experience within a regulated industry.
- Strong track record of leading successful bids and business growth initiatives.
- Excellent commercial, financial, and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience within defence, aerospace, government, or a similarly regulated sector is advantageous.
- Knowledge of structured bid methodologies (e.g. Shipley) is desirable.
