Overview

We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex digital programmes for a portfolio of high-profile clients. This is a client-facing role requiring someone who can confidently build trusted relationships, manage multiple workstreams, and ensure strategic outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. The successful candidate will have a proven background in delivering digital transformation programmes, managing cross-functional teams, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the programme lifecycle.

This role would suit an experienced Programme Manager who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys leading complex digital programmes, and is passionate about delivering exceptional results through collaboration, strategic thinking, and outstanding stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple digital programmes, ensuring successful outcomes against agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout programme delivery.
  • Facilitate regular client governance meetings, steering committees, and executive updates.
  • Manage programme plans, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary delivery teams including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Designers, QA, and third-party suppliers.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Work closely with clients to understand evolving business needs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and additional value.
  • Monitor programme performance through KPIs, reporting, and governance frameworks.
  • Support commercial activities including programme forecasting, resource planning, and budget management.
  • Drive best practice programme management methodologies, ensuring consistency across delivery.
  • Champion collaboration, transparency, and effective communication across both internal and client teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
