The opportunity
Within Enterprise Technology, Program Execution is responsible for managing all aspects of project and program delivery including:
- Portfolio Project demand management lifecycle
- Business and data analysis
- Project and program implementation
- Portfolio projects delivery management
Ultimately the team must ensure projects are delivered to time, budget and quality targets that ensure ET itself delivers on its commitments to global and member firm stakeholders.
This is a leadership role, and the candidate will lead a hardworking team who are responsible for delivering projects and programs across large parts of EY globally.
This role will be responsible for driving all aspects of project and program delivery from project demand through project delivery, setting and driving the highest possible standards for time, budget and quality delivery and working closely with the Business Office on financial tracking and forecasting.
Your key responsibilities
As a Program Manager the role will:
- Direct and manage the successful delivery of programs being delivered across the EY Globally, consisting of multiple complex project plans, objectives and change initiatives, in line with organizational policies and strategies.
- Review projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks etc. and make recommendations to senior business leaders within EY, negotiating on technical and commercial issues.
- Ensure all projects are established and managed in adherence to project governance frameworks and the SOWs.
- Manage activities and processes related to the tracking, analysis, and reporting against all key performance targets for the business.
- Be responsible for the tracking and management of vendor agreements and contracts that leverage project management services.
- Maintain a deep understanding of internal and external developments to recognize and address any potential impacts on IT programs and identify, implement and promote sharing of best practices and new technologies e.g., through Communities of Practice;
- Develop and drive quality initiatives that increase delivery confidence and align with industry standards.
- Focus on ensuring delivery to time, budget and quality is achieved through the development of talent aligned to the needs of the business whilst recognizing and rewarding success.
- Lead delivery negotiations with 3rd parties who will form part of delivery teams
- Have a good understanding of the Legal and commercial challenges that exist within EY globally when delivering large scale transformation program.

Skills and attributes for success
- A proven track record of delivering transformation projects and programs globally across EY
- Ability to challenge and push back to the business ensuring new project demand is appropriate and timely – especially where being proposed outside of the annual planning process.
- Ability to lead and motivate a globally dispersed team of varying backgrounds, skills and experiences.
- Ability to bring impactful thought leadership for use in evolving project management within EY
- Possess strong strategic capabilities as well as the capacity to foster new ways of thinking and develop new approaches that can be applied to a variety of challenges.
- Expert knowledge of Project Management, IT governance formulation, and team management.
- Strong knowledge of IT risk management, IT standards and policies formulation.
- Expert understanding of IT infrastructure design and delivery.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Managed a portfolio of application and infrastructure projects globally for multiple transformation Initiatives
- Managed the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple transformation programs.
- A demonstrable track record of delivering strategic programs globally across EY
- Demonstrated capability with managing successful change programs for large organizations
- Senior professional experience in commercial sourcing, managed services, IT modernization and running IT as a business for large global organizations.
- Experience in solving business and strategic issues through collaboration and high-performance teaming.
- Senior stakeholder management experience and building 'trusted advisor' relationships.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with an ability to succinctly and creatively present robust and evidence-based messages for sophisticated projects or elements of highly complex projects and provide subject matter insight.
