Job Title: Project Manager – Buyer Vendor Experience (BVX)/Programme Manager
Location: Watford
Duration: 6 months with possibility for extension
Office requirement: 3-4 days a month. The role involves significant interaction with teams in India and the USA. Occasional travel to Watford would be beneficial.

Role Purpose
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of the Buyer Vendor Experience (BVX) programme, a strategic initiative focused on transforming how product data, product imagery, reporting and vendor interactions are managed across globally.
This role will drive planning, governance, delivery coordination and change management across multiple business and technology workstreams, ensuring BVX delivers measurable value to Buyers, Merchandise Associates, Vendors and enterprise partners. The Project Manager will partner closely with Product Management, Solution Delivery, Architecture, Engineering, Buying Operations and executive stakeholders to deliver scalable, global solutions aligned to the One client strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Lead planning and execution of the BVX roadmap across Product Data, Product Photos, Vendor Portal and Reporting workstreams
- Establish and maintain Project governance, delivery plans, milestones, risks, dependencies and reporting
- Drive alignment across business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery of Project objectives
- Coordinate activities across multiple agile teams and workstreams

Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with Buying leadership, Product Management, Technology teams and business stakeholders
- In partnership with Product Management, facilitate Project steering committees, leadership updates and decision-making forums
- Manage expectations and provide clear communication on progress, risks and key decisions
Delivery Management
- Ensure Project deliverables are delivered on schedule and aligned to agreed business outcomes
- Monitor Project health, budget, risks and dependencies
- Drive issue resolution and escalation management where required
- Support prioritisation of features and capabilities based on business value
Governance & Change Management
- Develop Project governance frameworks, roles and responsibilities
- Drive adoption and change management activities across divisions and geographies
- Support communications, training and rollout planning
- Ensure business readiness for pilot, MVP and enterprise deployments
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Architects and Engineering leaders
- Coordinate with Compliance, Finance, Merchandising, Logistics and Vendor Management teams
- Ensure Project decisions support both global consistency and divisional needs

Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience managing medium-scale business and technology Projects
- Strong Project governance and delivery management experience
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Experience working with Agile and hybrid delivery models
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong risk, dependency and issue management expertise
- Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority
Preferred
- Experience within Retail, Merchandising, Supply Chain or Product Data domains
- Knowledge of product information management, digital assets or vendor-facing platforms
- Experience supporting global rollouts and organisational change initiatives
- Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem tools and modern product delivery practices
