Description

This is a 12 months fixed-term contract.

The Last Mile DSP Payments team wants a Program Manager who’s ready to dive in, get their hands dirty, and learn payments operations from the inside out.

EU DSP Payments moves more than €1B a year across 9 countries — and you’ll get a real, bounded piece of that world to call your own. Think of it as your training ground with teeth: a defined workstream (a payment type, a market, a process) where you’ll build genuine expertise, working closely with a senior PM who’ll show you how the bigger picture fits together.

Key job responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Get hands-on executing payment process tasks and improvements within your assigned EU workstream — fuel, incentives, or a focused set of markets — with a senior PM in your corner
  • Sharpen existing financial controls and audit trails by digging into checks, spotting gaps, and flagging issues fast
  • Build Excel-based tools and trackers (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic Power Query) that take the manual grind out of day-to-day work
  • Chase discrepancies within your area, tracing data through upstream systems and partnering with senior teammates to nail the root cause
  • Document how things actually work — clearly enough that someone else could pick it up, automate it, or scale it
  • Help capture requirements for automation by getting close to the manual process and spotting exactly where it breaks

A day in the life

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • You’re sharp with Excel — pivot tables and VLOOKUPs are your bread and butter, and you’re hungry to pick up Power Query
  • You like structure and you bring it — when something’s messy, you want to be the one organizing it, not just observing it
  • You communicate clearly and proactively — your manager and stakeholders always know where things stand
  • You’re a fast learner who doesn’t need everything spelled out twice — new systems and workflows excite you, not intimidate you
  • You’re open to travel — getting face time with regional ops teams is part of how you’ll grow
  • You keep your cool under deadline pressure, especially during peak periods

Bonus points for: curiosity about SQL, interest in BI tools (QuickSight, Tableau), or a second European language

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in Excel with advanced proficiency (pivots, lookups, etc.)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
  • Experience supporting process documentation using data
  • Some exposure to process improvement or standardization (internship, co-op, or early-career project work counts)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
  • Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions
  • Experience leading projects across multiple stakeholders
  • Exposure to project tracking or basic schedule management
  • Self-starter energy — coursework or self-directed learning in SQL or data analysis
