Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Programme Manager to drive collaboration and resolve complex security challenges across Land, Mobile & Radio (LMR) initiatives in the EMEA region. You will act as the critical link between technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to:
- Streamline processes
- Advance security initiatives
- Ensure on-time delivery of challenging projects within the security domain
This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience in managing large-scale programs. The right candidate will anticipate risks, proactively resolve conflicts, and act as a trusted partner to all stakeholders to exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery
- Oversee full-system handover: From initial concept to final operational readiness, ensuring all components are installed as per agreement.
- Cross-functional coordination: Manage and approve labour planning, equipment deployment, and material procurement by external installation partners.
- Vendor lifecycle management: Take ownership of key third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle, from contracting to daily operations and performance monitoring.
- Escalation & risk mitigation: Serve as the main escalation point for vendor bottlenecks, with the goal to protect program timelines.
- Vendor interface & compliance
- Confirm procurement and installation of access control wires, cables, and materials (unless specified otherwise).
- Ensure final inspection, testing, demonstration, and acceptance of installations, along with compliance testing of software, documentation, and workmanship standards.
- Stakeholder liaison & roadmap alignment: Translate client business objectives into realistic and achievable program roadmaps, aligning strategy with operational execution.
- SLA tracking: Monitor and report on Statement of Work (SOW) compliance, ensuring SLAs are met by Practical Completion, per client standards.
- Documentation & agreement adherence: Maintain radiogly logs for risks, actions, issues, and decisions, and log all project constraints daily.

Governance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) frameworks within the agreed SOW.
- Oversee compliance with defined SLAs and reporting via tools mandated by the PMO model for real-time tracking.
- Escalate and resolve reporting updates, root causes, and dependencies transparently with senior management.

Essential Criteria
- Minimum 5 years in a programme management role with a proven ability to handle multi-threaded programs.
- Experience in managing projects with multiple interdependent workstreams and cross-functional cross-dependencies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to balance technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders—communication is critical.
- Hands-on knowledge of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Projectlibre, Smartsheet).
- Strong vendor management capabilities, including negotiations and performance monitoring.
Desired (but not essential)
- Security or radio operations deployment experience (especially in LMR projects).
- Certification in PRINCE2 or comparable programme management methodology.
- Knowledge of RF technologies and relevant standards.
- Familiarity with Motorola, iBwave, or SmartPTT systems.
