Program Manager, Planning, ATS AM Planning

Amazon Managed Planning Team

Amazon’s EU ATS Amazon Managed Planning Team develop and implement scalable solutions for Amazon to manage its middle mile network. Our team's goal is to ensure the highest accuracy of Amazon Managed loads, maximize the planning efficiency and Linehaul savings. The team plans capacity for the entire EU network and UK, that require building scalable cost-optimal solutions that work for the entire network. As a Planner for Amazon Managed supply, you will work on improving existing processes and solutions and challenge the status quo. This will require diving deep into performance data, understanding planning processes on a broader scale, and working with multiple teams across Amazon, from Operational teams who are fulfilling customer orders to Program teams and everything in between.

Key job responsibilities

The Amazon Managed Planner requires good analytical, communication, dive-deep and collaboration skills to deliver against the aforementioned responsibilities successfully. These skills allow the Planner to identify process improvement opportunities and drive solutions within ATS Amazon Managed space. Also, the Planner requires the ability to create trust by sustaining best practices in process and program implementation, ensuring all changes are fully aligned and visible to the impacted teams, and influence the large multitude of stakeholders across various cross-functional teams.

A day in the life

ATS Amazon Managed Planner role and responsibility consists of managing an existing Amazon Managed planning process with a defined roadmap, and delivering complex projects aligned with the planning team’s vision of quality, automation and scalability. The Planner streamlines existing processes and identifies solutions for internal customers. In this role, the Planner works on solving complex operational problems related to constraints, demand and supply.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in program or project management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
