Description

The Tech SME team is the bridge between tech and operations. Tech SMEs have significant knowledge and experience unique to Last Mile operations and technology. As subject-matter experts, we bridge multiple disciplines such as operations, engineering, research science, planning, and software development to assist these teams in solving problems and developing cohesive solutions that optimize the AMZL value stream. We are innovators that actively participate in the deployment, adoption, and execution of tools and programs developed within AMZL. We create and deep dive key performance metrics to measure the health of the business, applying specialized knowledge to separate signals from noise, and we develop tech implementation and expansion strategies to integrate new software and tools seamlessly into the business.

The AMZL Tech Subject Matter Expert (SME) team is seeking an experienced Program Manager. This role is accountable for influencing business-critical decisions around the operations tech that enable scale and deliver consistent, industry-leading performance. The individual will support the development and delivery of high-performance delivery tools for Operations and Transporters. In this role, you will analyze data to diagnose processes, identify improvement opportunities, prescribe improvement strategies, and guide the improvement effort. This role will manage large, complex initiatives, deal with ambiguity, balance speed with quality, and advocate on behalf of the customer to provide high-performance app-based solutions to the field.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
