Famvin Homeless Alliance (FHA) is a global homelessness initiative within Depaul International, mobilising the Vincentian Family to develop sustainable housing and homelessness solutions worldwide. Through its flagship 13 Houses Campaign, FHA has supported more than 11,000 people across 130 projects in 79 countries while also advancing advocacy efforts at the United Nations and promoting research, capacity building, and Catholic Social Teaching on homelessness. Operating within the wider Depaul Group, FHA is committed to ending homelessness through collaboration, dignity, compassion, and social justice.
Role Description
We are seeking a Programme Officer to join our London-based FHA team on a permanent, full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). Reporting to the Project Development Manager, the postholder will support the expansion of the global 13 Houses Campaign, working closely with international partners to develop projects, conduct due diligence, monitor impact, strengthen advocacy capacity, and produce high-quality communications and storytelling content. The role also includes coordinating international events, webinars, and conferences while contributing to FHA’s advocacy, communications, and project management strategies. The position offers 26 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, pension contributions, and a hybrid working arrangement with up to two days per week working from home.

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in project management and advocacy.
- Strong interest in building a career in global homelessness and social impact.
- Commitment to Vincentian values and the mission of the Depaul Group.
- Experience supporting funding bids, project applications, and donor reports.
- Knowledge of project monitoring, evaluation, outcomes, and impact measurement.
- Excellent written communication, storytelling, proofreading, and content creation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and international networks.
- Experience developing and implementing advocacy strategies.
- Ability to analyse numerical and financial data and present information to multiple stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational, administrative, and time-management skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages, particularly French, Spanish, or Portuguese, are highly desirable.
- Willingness to undertake international travel (approximately 3–4 weeks per year).
