Program Underwriting Manager
Location: City of London Salary: Flexible (to secure the right candidate) + Bonus + Equity
Eames are partnered with an innovative and fast-growing specialty business seeking to hire a Program Underwriting Manager into their London team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Program Underwriter or Portfolio Manager to join a highly entrepreneurial platform and contribute significantly to the growth of their UK specialty portfolio.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee underwriting performance across delegated authority partnerships
- Monitor portfolio profitability, exposures, and underwriting quality
- Build and maintain strong relationships with MGA and coverholder partners as the primary contact
- Collaborate closely with analytics on reporting, MI (Management Information), and portfolio insights
- Support portfolio optimisation and growth strategy
- Present portfolio performance and recommendations to senior leadership and reinsurers

Job Requirements
- Proven program management experience, ideally within the London Market or specialty insurance sector
- Strong blend of technical oversight, commercial acumen, and relationship management
- Familiarity with Power BI is advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with growth ambitions
