Programmatic Director (FTC, 12 Month)
About the Role
Zenith seeks a Programmatic Director for a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC), leading world-class programmatic strategy for leading clients, including HP, Electrolux, ELIDA, Eli Lilly, and Lulu Lemon. This is a senior hands-on role where you’ll:
- Shape and deliver full-funnel programmatic strategies (across display, video, YouTube, DCO, and high-impact formats).
- Exceed client expectations while managing international teams with agility and expertise.

Responsibilities
- Lead strategic and tactical execution of programmatic campaigns spanning display, video, YouTube, DCO, and premium formats—ensuring focused brand and performance delivery.
- Oversee end-to-end optimisation with strict attention to:
- Media quality and brand safety protocols
- Tag management and technical integration
- QA and performance accountability
- Serve as a trusted programmatic advisor to clients, translating results into strategic narrative and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate across teams (planning, search, and social) to maintain progressive efficiency and maximise ROI at every stage.
- Take ownership of financial integrity:
- Forecasting, budget forecasting, and PO management
- Budget tracking and scenario forecasting
- Mentor and grow a team of five specialists, fostering development, clarity, and autonomy.
- Drive continuous improvements by:
- Evolution of workflows
- Best-practice sharing and cross-team innovation
Qualifications
A dynamic leader in programmatic with a proven track-record in, or strong affinity with:
- Media agency expertise (or equivalent ecosystem experience)
- A deepened knowledge of programmatic tooling (DSPs, SSPs, data platforms, measurement frameworks).
- Ability to rewardingly translate strategy into technical activation with measurable impact.
- Proven experience leading teams—minimizing risk and championing collaborative leadership.
- Capacity to prioritize across complex priorities, managing attention to detail at scale.
- Analytical mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving, optimisation, and industry shifts.
- Authentic, clear communication skills (internal, external, and cross-functional trust-building).
