Job Description
The McCann media team are responsible for the planning and buying of media campaigns for our clients. The team has extensive experience across the full range of online and offline channels.
Right now, we are looking for an experienced Programmatic Media Manager to support the media team for a variety of clients in industries including retail, automotive, healthcare, charity, and finance. The ideal candidate will have established experience in programmatic media campaigns.

Requirements
We are looking to recruit a Programmatic Media Manager to support the media team, responsible for planning and implementing digital media campaigns, you will work on national and international clients across a wide variety of industries.
Main Duties
- Planning, buying, and implementation of digital media campaigns across managed and self-service digital platforms - display, video, audio, DOOH, mobile, CTV
- Demonstrating in-depth programmatic knowledge and expertise across multiple channels
- Experience of reporting across multiple clients
- Utilising DSPs: DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon - building, running, and optimising campaigns
- Regularly optimising activity by adjusting bids, reallocating budgets, and pausing underperforming tactics to improve results
- Preparation of detailed and accurate digital media schedules in Excel
- Preparation of PowerPoint presentations for client meetings
- Participate in client reporting calls where required, confidently discussing performance and next steps
- Deliver post-campaign analysis through clear, visually engaging PowerPoint presentations
- Independently carrying out media and audience research
- Reconcile campaign spend and billing accurately, ensuring clients are invoiced correctly and on time each month and all new activity is booked onto the finance system promptly
- Demonstrating commercial accountability on client accounts

Key Requirements
- Ideally four years of programmatic media experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and identify optimisation opportunities.
- Concern for and a superb attention to detail
- In-depth understanding of programmatic display platforms and emerging opportunities
- Experience in delivering digital brand campaigns and direct response campaigns
- Ability to work to multiple deadlines and under pressure
- Computer literate, i.e. excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in using Google Campaign Manager and GA4
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- A proactive and positive "can do" attitude
Desirable
- Previous media agency experience
- Skilled in presenting to clients and prospects
- Commercial acumen
- We use DV360, The Trade Desk, and Amazon as our primary DSPs - experience across any other DSPs would be a bonus
- Working knowledge of analytics and data - the ability to run detailed reports in Excel to measure campaign effectiveness
