Programmatic Sales Manager International (m/f/d)

Media Impact is the dedicated sales house for Axel Springer in Germany, representing leading media brands such as BILD, WELT and Business Insider Germany. As part of Axel Springer, one of Europe’s leading digital publishing companies headquartered in Berlin, we connect international agencies, trading desks and advertisers with premium audiences across trusted digital environments in Germany. We are looking for a motivated Programmatic Sales Manager to join our London office. Ideal for someone with initial programmatic advertising experience gained on the agency, adtech or publisher side, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with our International Sales Team and programmatic specialists in Germany. By combining relationship-building, commercial thinking and hands-on programmatic expertise, you will help drive revenue growth and connect international partners with Axel Springer’s premium media portfolio. How you'll make an impact build and maintain strong relationships with agencies and their trading desks in the UK as well as large global brands with German media activity proactively identify new business opportunities by conducting market research and analysing industry trends work closely with the Programmatic Business Team, Sales and Marketing to develop data-driven advertising solutions coordinate and execute customer presentations and sales meetings to support successful campaigns negotiate and close programmatic deals while ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both the client and the publisher use SSPs, internal reporting and CRM tools to monitor deal performance, identify optimisation opportunities and support day-to-day account management provide regular sales updates to the Head of Sales and travel to Germany and other relevant markets What you'll need a completed degree in marketing, business administration or a comparable field experience in advertising gained on the agency, adtech or publisher side and a knowledge of programmatic basics ideally have existing client and agency contacts in London’s international media industry confidence in using CRM systems and other sales tools, as well as a knowledge of or interest in digital advertising platforms strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly and persuasively to clients and internal stakeholders a self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented working style fluent English skills and ideally German language skills at B1/B2 level What we offer an attractive and modern workplace with good transport connections in the East of London training opportunities to develop your knowledge of digital advertising and media sales the chance to work with some of Germany’s strongest media brands an international, motivated and experienced team with room to learn and grow exposure to agencies, advertisers and colleagues across different markets we offer a position in full-time on a permanent contract Questions and answers about the application process The most frequently asked questions and their answers can be found on our FAQ page: career.axelspringer.com/en/faq Diversity is an essential part of our corporate culture!
