Programme and Volunteer Co-ordinator
Company Description CRuNCH is dedicated to empowering young people with essential life skills to build a healthier future. Through fully-funded education programmes, we collaborate with schools and community organisations to teach nutrition, food preparation, cooking, and healthy lifestyle habits. Our flagship initiative, "Cook5 with CRuNCH," equips teenagers with the ability to prepare five healthy meals from scratch, fostering long-term physical and mental well-being. We are committed to addressing public health challenges that transcend individuals and impact the broader society and economy of the UK. Role Description This is a volunteer on-site role located in Bristol for a Programme and Volunteer Coordinator. The Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day management of our educational initiatives and volunteer team. Responsibilities include organising and delivering volunteer training sessions, supporting community outreach activities, managing volunteer schedules, ensuring the smooth execution of programmes, and building strong relationships with partners and participants to promote CRuNCH's mission effectively. Qualifications Experience in Volunteer Training and Volunteer Management to effectively recruit, train, and coordinate diverse teams. Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to engage with volunteers, community members, and partner organisations. Community Outreach expertise to build and sustain impactful connections with schools, organisations, and local communities. Organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. A passion for promoting health and nutrition education; experience in a related field is a plus.
