Programme Delivery Manager (f/m/x)

The Programme Delivery Manager is a senior leadership role within the Technology organization of an international lottery systems provider. This role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of complex, integrated solutions across both systems and digital platforms, ensuring a cohesive, high-quality customer experience. The director will lead cross-functional delivery teams, own change management processes, and serve as the single point of contact for all solution delivery matters related to assigned projects or clients.

The Programme Delivery Manager is a senior leadership role within the Technology organization of an international lottery systems provider. This role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of complex, integrated solutions across both systems and digital platforms, ensuring a cohesive, high-quality customer experience. The director will lead cross-functional delivery teams, own change management processes, and serve as the single point of contact for all solution delivery matters related to assigned projects or clients.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Own full accountability for the successful delivery and successful deployment of professional service programmes across multiple platforms
  • Oversee systems and digital delivery teams via SDM, ensuring alignment and integration across all solution components.
  • Define and manage delivery roadmaps, schedules, scope, risks, and resource plans.
  • Balance scope, budget, and time to prioritize work items effectively in coordination with the UK IT Service Account Manager
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Remove impediments to team progress.
  • Maintain records of lessons learned and post-mortem sessions.
  • Act as a point of contact for other departments.
  • Ensure that discussed solutions and features are in line with internal Product Roadmaps avoiding one-off solutions
  • Serve as the single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all solution delivery topics.
  • Partner with Sales, QA, Operations, Product Management, and Customer Success teams to define and execute delivery strategies.
  • Act as the customer-facing escalation point for delivery-related issues and coordinate timely resolution.
  • Represent the teams in front of stakeholders
  • Oversee the technical integration and operational coordination of core lottery systems, iLottery platforms, retail terminals, and backend systems.
  • Ensure interoperability, scalability, and consistency of the end-to-end solution.
  • Align release roadmap with the UK IT-Service Account Manager and Allwyn.
  • Coordinate necessary activities, test supplies, environments, and resources.
  • Mitigate impediments affecting release and sprint goals.
  • Provide input on risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Support Allwyn's User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect triage in coordination with the UK-Test Manager
  • Lead structured change management processes to accommodate evolving customer needs, technology shifts, and regulatory changes.
  • Monitor defect and change management, coordinating release dates with Allwyn.
  • Assist account management with offers and technical clarifications
  • Collaborate with Program Management and Product teams to assess impacts and re-baseline delivery plans as needed.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow high-performing delivery teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote cross-team collaboration and drive standardization of delivery practices.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for solution delivery.
  • Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and executive-level reporting on delivery progress.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in solution delivery or program management within complex, multi-platform technology environments.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional technology teams (systems and digital) in a high-availability, high-security environment.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, cloud technologies, digital platforms (web/mobile), and system integration methods (APIs, middleware).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., gaming, finance, telecom) is preferred.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.
  • Comfortable operating in a global, multicultural, and fast-paced environment.
  • Adapt at balancing multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Highly collaborative, with a track record of building trusted partnerships across business and technical domains.
  • Foster a culture of open feedback, continuous improvement, and innovation within the delivery team
