An exciting Programme Director opportunity has become available within our dedicated Infrastructure Business Unit. As the Programme Director, you will lead the client team in the delivery of a multi-billion-pound investment sub-programme, across several major projects, driving commercial performance and on-time delivery.
So, if you have demonstrable experience as a Programme Director, Senior Programme Manager or Delivery Director across Nuclear, Defence, Transport, Energy & Utilities or other high hazard, complex manufacturing and operational industries, this will be an excellent match for you.
What you will be doing
- Accountable to the Director of Infrastructure for project and programme performance in the delivery of this major sub-programme, to meet the functional scope defined by the sponsoring business.
- Governance and leadership of Heads of Project to deliver defined major projects to agreed schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
- Executive interface with tier one supply chain partners.
- Commercial accountability for design & delivery partners.
- Senior Leadership Team member, contributing to the development of the DBU approach and change programme.

Position requirements
- Experience of delivering large-scale, complex, infrastructure projects and programmes.
- Breadth of commercial experience within a collaborative framework, with specific experience of NEC4 contracts.
- Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams and driving commercial performance.
- Strong collaborative stakeholder engagement capabilities.
