Programme Director – Market Surveillance Transformation
Location: Hybrid
Contract: Permanent
Lead a major Market Surveillance transformation programme
Our client, a leading global financial institution, is seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead a strategic Market Surveillance transformation programme.
This is a high-profile opportunity to deliver complex regulatory and technology change across a global organisation, partnering with senior stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Technology and the Front Office to strengthen market surveillance capabilities and enhance the control environment.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Programme Director who has successfully led large-scale transformation within highly regulated financial services environments.
The Role
You will take overall accountability for the successful delivery of a strategic transformation programme, ensuring objectives are achieved while maintaining robust governance, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading programme strategy, planning, and execution across multiple workstreams
- Driving governance, executive reporting, and programme decision-making
- Managing programme scope, budget, risks, and dependencies
- Building strong relationships across Compliance, Risk, Technology, and Business teams
- Leading large, cross-functional delivery teams and third-party partners
- Ensuring regulatory, audit, and control requirements are embedded throughout delivery
- Driving business readiness, implementation, and successful adoption
- Delivering measurable business outcomes against agreed timelines

You'll bring:
- Extensive Programme Director experience delivering complex enterprise transformation
- Strong Financial Services or Investment Banking experience
- Experience leading Market Surveillance, Compliance, or Regulatory Change programmes
- Exceptional executive stakeholder management skills
- Strong governance, financial management, and delivery expertise
- Experience leading global, cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Agile and traditional delivery methodologies

Programme Director – Model Risk Transformation
Location: Hybrid
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Deliver a strategic Model Risk transformation programme
Our client, a leading international financial services organisation, is looking for an experienced Programme Director to lead the delivery of a strategic Model Risk transformation programme.
This enterprise-wide initiative will replace a critical legacy platform with a modern strategic solution supporting model governance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across the organisation.
This is a highly visible leadership role, working closely with senior stakeholders across Risk, Technology, Data, Engineering, and Audit.
The Role
As Programme Director, you will lead the programme from strategy through to implementation, ensuring successful delivery of both the technology platform and the associated business transformation.

Responsibilities include:
- Defining programme strategy, roadmap, and delivery approach
- Leading governance, Steering Committees, and executive reporting
- Managing programme budgets, delivery plans, risks, and dependencies
- Leading engineering, data, and business delivery teams
- Delivering complex technology and data transformation
- Overseeing data migration and legacy platform decommissioning
- Driving business change, operating model design, and adoption
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and strong control outcomes throughout delivery
About You
We're looking for an experienced Programme Director with:
- A proven track record delivering large-scale transformation programmes within Financial Services
- Experience leading regulatory, risk, or enterprise data platform implementations
- Strong leadership across complex global organisations
- Excellent executive stakeholder management and communication skills
- Expertise in governance, delivery assurance, and programme financial management
- Experience delivering systems with strong data quality, resilience, and auditability
- Experience within Model Risk Management, Risk Transformation, or Regulatory Technology programmes would be highly desirable.
