About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to join our Service Improvement & Transformation team as Programme Lead - Integrated Support. You will lead the development and delivery of integrated support models for individuals living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
As the Programme Lead, you will bring expertise in project governance, stakeholder engagement and service improvement, managing risk, budgets, and performance to turn strategy into delivery. This critical role will involve coordinating interconnected projects, driving cross-system collaboration, and ensuring high-quality, coordinated support for people affected by MND across the UK.
The role sits at the heart of national transformation, requiring you to:
- Drive innovative service design strategies
- Strengthen partnerships across health and care systems
- Ensure consistent, person-centred support wherever individuals live
Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning and delivery of the Programme Lead - Integrated Support portfolio, coordinating seven interconnected workstreams to ensure alignment, quality, and impact

Develop and manage programme frameworks, governance, and reporting models, embedding ongoing improvement

Drive progress across projects, managing risk, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations

Work closely with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver strategic priorities, ensuring timely, coherent execution

About You
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Programme Lead or in a similar strategic delivery role
- Experience leading multiple complex projects with strong project governance track record
- Formal project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, or Agile)
- Demonstrated expertise in service improvement and quality improvement methods
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including influence with senior leaders and external partners
- Advanced risk management, planning, and budgetary oversight within fast-paced environments
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategy
Preferences
- Experience in healthcare, charity, or service-led organisations
- Knowledge of integrated service delivery models
- Ability to navigate complex systems (e.g., health and social care partnerships)
- Familiarity with MND support structures or similar chronic care landscapes
Working Environment
- Primarily home-based, with travel requirements across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland
- Membership of a dynamic team supporting national transformation at the MND Association
