Programme Leader-Current Car

Most people see an Aston Martin and experience the finished product.

What they don’t see is the constant engineering, planning, and cross-functional collaboration required to keep those vehicles evolving, improving, and performing at the level our customers expect throughout their lifecycle.

This is where this role makes a real impact.

As Programme Leader-Current Car, you'll be responsible for driving the delivery of key activities across Aston Martin's current vehicle programmes, ensuring engineering changes, quality improvements, cost targets, and programme milestones are achieved successfully.

Sitting at the centre of multiple business functions, you'll coordinate activity across Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, Design, Launch, Planning, and Programme teams, bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to complex projects.

This is a role that combines technical understanding with programme leadership.

You'll be responsible for monitoring programme health, managing engineering change introductions, developing and tracking release plans, supporting cost management activities, and driving the resolution of concerns that could impact quality, timing, or delivery. You'll analyse programme performance, identify risks, and work with stakeholders to develop effective recovery plans when challenges arise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll bring experience in vehicle or complex systems programme delivery, a strong understanding of product development processes, and the confidence to challenge, coordinate, and communicate effectively at every level of the organisation.

This is an opportunity to join an iconic luxury brand where every decision contributes to the performance, quality, and customer experience of some of the world's most admired vehicles.
