Most people see an Aston Martin and experience the finished product.

What they don’t see is the constant engineering, planning and cross-functional collaboration required to keep those vehicles evolving, improving and performing at the level our customers expect throughout their lifecycle.

This is where this role makes a real impact.

About the Role

As Programme Leader-Current Car, you'll be responsible for driving the delivery of key activities across Aston Martin's current vehicle programmes, ensuring engineering changes, quality improvements, cost targets and programme milestones are achieved successfully.

Sitting at the centre of multiple business functions, you'll coordinate activity across Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, Design, Launch, Planning and Programme teams, bringing clarity, structure and momentum to complex projects.

This is a role that combines technical understanding with programme leadership.

You'll be responsible for monitoring programme health, managing engineering change introductions, developing and tracking release plans, supporting cost management activities and driving the resolution of concerns that could impact quality, timing or delivery. You'll analyse programme performance, identify risks and work with stakeholders to develop effective recovery plans when challenges arise.

What makes this opportunity especially rewarding is the breadth of exposure. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, support Programme Managers on high-profile vehicle programmes and have the opportunity to lead smaller programmes in your own right, taking ownership of both delivery and financial performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
