Program Manager - Mortgage Platform Migration
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a large-scale mortgage platform transformation programme. This is a strategic role responsible for delivering complex technology and business change initiatives, with a particular focus on mortgage platform migrations, modernisation, and operational transformation.
Working across business and technology teams, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of migration programmes, ensuring successful implementation while minimising operational risk and maintaining excellent customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of large-scale mortgage platform migration programmes.
- Manage complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives involving technology, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Develop programme roadmaps, governance structures, and delivery plans.
- Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful programme execution.
- Identify and mitigate programme risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure migration activities are delivered with minimal disruption to customers and business operations.
- Drive stakeholder engagement across executive leadership, technology, operations, risk, and change teams.
- Monitor programme performance against scope, budget, timelines, and quality objectives.
- Support continuous improvement and the adoption of modern mortgage technology platforms and delivery practices.

Required Experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale mortgage platform migration programmes.
- Strong understanding of the UK mortgage lifecycle, including origination, underwriting, servicing, and completion.
- Experience delivering complex technology transformation programmes within financial services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams across business and technology functions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior executives.
- Experience working within regulated financial services environments.
- Knowledge of programme governance, risk management, and change management best practices.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with digital mortgage platforms or core mortgage system replacements.
- Background working with UK mortgage lenders, specialist lenders, challenger banks, or mortgage servicing organisations.
- Experience delivering cloud, data, or digital transformation initiatives alongside mortgage platform migrations.
