About the Job
As a Programme Manager, you will join a dynamic and international environment and be responsible for securing large UK MOD-related programmes, working with primes and sub-contractors as needed, monitoring and managing them proactively during the full contract phase.
You will be part of a team of dedicated and experienced colleagues who work closely together and help each other succeed. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work proactively, structured, and flexibly.
You will report directly to the Director of Global Program Management.

- Securing future programmes via customer feedback and presenting possible solutions and needs to the customer.
- Responding in a timely and professional manner to all questions and needs arising from the customer as well as the tender.
- Ensuring the delivery of new products or services from teams is to the appropriate level of quality, on time, and within budget, in accordance with the programme plan.

- Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
- Ensuring there is allocation of both common and specific resources, skills, and other troubleshooting within the programmes.
- Managing communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Using and improving the programme controls, that is, the processes, procedures, reporting, etc., to manage the programme promptly.
- Undertaking other duties reasonably required, which are appropriate with the level and nature of the role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
