Location: Manchester or London (hybrid 3 days on site per week)
Duration: 6 Months
Day rate: £514 Inside IR35
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to support a major commercial transformation programme within a leading UK telecommunications organisation. This role will sit within the Commercial Strategy & Planning team, helping to drive strategic initiatives, governance, operational improvements and business transformation activity across sales and commercial functions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for mobilising and delivering complex workstreams, ensuring robust governance, stakeholder alignment, risk management and successful delivery of business outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially-minded programme professional who can operate effectively in a fast-paced transformation environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate complex programmes and workstreams from mobilisation through to delivery.
- Establish and maintain programme governance, reporting, risk and issue management processes.
- Define and track KPIs, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives and timelines.
- Manage stakeholder engagement across multiple business functions and senior leadership teams.
- Facilitate effective decision-making and ensure clear accountability across programme activities.
- Manage budgets, forecasts and programme financials.
- Coordinate internal and external delivery resources to achieve programme outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement and support transformation initiatives across the business.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven programme management experience delivering complex business or transformation programmes.
- Strong governance, planning, risk, dependency and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Commercial awareness with experience working with business KPIs, budgets and business cases.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for senior audiences.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of operating models, transformation and organisational change.
- Experience working within large, matrixed organisations.
- Passion for continuous improvement and driving business outcomes.
