What will you be doing?
As a Programme Manager for XEIAD, part of British Engineering Services Group, you will be responsible for supporting the successful deployment of Structural Inspection, Investigation and Survey programmes across a wide range of infrastructure civil engineering assets. The Programme Manager role is usually linked to a specific discipline, geography or sector, however, this may vary.
You Will
- Promote safe working practices at all times and actively participate in safety initiatives providing support to others as required
- Lead the planning, preparation and coordination of Structural Inspections, Investigations and Surveys, plus other associated activities
- Assisting the preparation, review and briefing of proposed safe systems of work including Task Briefings, Risk Assessments, Method Statements etc.
- Coordinate on-site resources ensuring that all staff are briefed on the proposed methodology in advance of the work activity with acknowledgement of understanding documented
- Support updates to the project programme and resourcing plan to ensure consistent utilisation of resource against the delivery programme
- Work closely with the Resource and Capacity Manager(s) to ensure that work is planned to optimise the use of available resources
- Engage professionally with clients and other key external stakeholders as required creating strong relationships with key individuals

To join our team, you will need:
- Experience in a relevant Engineering / Bridge Inspection / Programme Management position
- Knowledge and basic understanding of planning works safely and efficiently within an engineering or infrastructure environment
- Experience of planning complex/challenging structural inspections, investigations or surveys, or other associated activities desirable
- Ideally a Level 4 qualification in Engineering / Surveying / Programme / Project Management (or similar), or Higher Bridge Inspection competency (e.g. SBICS, STE4 Metallic, STE6 etc.)
- UK Driving licence
