The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the operational management of one of Ireland’s premier executive education programmes. Reporting to the Executive Director - Learning & Education, who leads the Chartered Director Programme, the Programme Manager will be responsible for its day-to-day operational planning and delivery, supporting its ongoing development and continuous improvement.
Working closely with delegates, tutors, IoD UK and colleagues across the organisation, you will ensure an outstanding participant experience while maintaining the highest standards of programme quality, governance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
As Programme Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the successful delivery and continuous improvement of the programme, including:
- Managing the planning and delivery of the annual programme schedule, including classroom and online learning, revision sessions, examinations and venue logistics.
- Managing the delegate journey from registration and onboarding through to graduation, ensuring an exceptional participant experience.
- Building productive relationships with delegates, tutors, IoD UK and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless programme delivery.
- Coordinating and supporting tutors throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Managing programme documentation, learning materials, systems and operational processes.
- Leading the operational management of Certificate and Diploma examinations, including candidate communications, registrations, examination support and results.
- Coordinating the programme’s graduation activities in partnership with the Events team.
- Monitoring programme quality, participant feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
- Contributing to the achievement of programme objectives, including delegate recruitment, participant satisfaction, examination pass rates and programme growth.
About You

You’ll be an experienced programme, project or operations manager with a passion for delivering exceptional learning experiences and building trusted relationships with senior professionals.
You’ll bring:
- Experience managing complex programmes, projects or operations.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with senior executives, directors or other professional stakeholders.
- Strong judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- A proven commitment to delivering exceptional participant experiences.
- Experience using CRM, Learning Management Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- A collaborative, proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
Experience within executive education, professional membership, higher education or professional qualifications would be an advantage.
