An exceptional opportunity for a Resourcing Programme Manager has arisen to join our GCAP Programmes Team. In this ever-changing economic landscape, Future Programmes finds themselves in a more competitive and demanding world than ever before. There is an opportunity for a Programme lead capability and resourcing Manager to minimise risk of resource related risks to customer delivery.
The GCAP Programme team is working within a complex contractual environment which will require a much more strategic approach to working as “One Rolls-Royce” across our Defence, Civil, Electrical, and Central businesses as well as working closely with our industry partners and customer on strategy and approach.
Working across the directorate, the Programme Manager for programme lead capability and resourcing will be the focal point for all things programme lead and resourcing across the GCAP programme. Our Programme Managers are considered key leadership roles within the department with accountability for ensuring we successfully deliver on our commitments in support of our business strategies.

What You Will Be Doing
- Own, and manage resourcing requirements and processes to ensure successful fulfilment of the programme needs.
- Direct line management accountability for the GCAP programme team PL population.
- Leadership for the PL community across future programmes.
- Rolling out changes, training, initiatives, and developing a high-performance culture.
- Manage the load signal, key interfaces, and resource agreements across the GCAP Programme and with the wider Rolls-Royce Enterprise (Civil, Electrical, Operations, IT, etc).
- Owning the process, decision forums, and data associated with resourcing and headcount metrics, including strategic workforce planning.
- Act as Rolls-Royce focal point on all programme-related resourcing activities for GCAP, whilst also taking on initiatives to develop the wider teams' capabilities.

- Resourcing Project/Programme Management and Resourcing Process experience.
- Management Reporting, Interpreting, Preparing, and Presenting across a wide stakeholder audience.
- Strong Stakeholder management experience capable of dealing with ambiguity.
- Data Management.
- Strategic and visionary capabilities.
- Experience working within a Defence organisation is desirable, however, experience in a large complex engineering or infrastructure environment is also considered.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence business, an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.
