Programme Manager
Our client is seeking a Programme Manager to join their rapidly expanding business and become an integral part of the team. The Programme Manager’s key goal will be to support the R&D team, ensuring that all tasks are delivered timely, correctly resourced, and meet highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage programme strategies in line with high-level business goals
- Provide line management & professional development for Project Managers
- Foster an environment that supports fast-moving R&D projects while ensuring high-quality, compliant outputs
- Collaborate with the C-Suite to develop product roadmaps and project portfolios, cascading down strategic business priorities
- Implement best-in-class programme/project strategies & methodologies
- Define optimal project team structures and workflows
- Protect the business from project/delivery risks through strategic planning
- Gate-keep all new initiatives, ensuring they undergo the agreed scoping process
- Suggest improvement strategies to enhance project teams’ output and efficiency
- Ensure all projects adhere to company processes & workflows from initiation to delivery
- Work with the R&D team to identify and mitigate risks, implementing contingency plans to keep projects on track
- Hold ultimate responsibility for timely project completion and delivery

Key Attributes
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams (direct and indirect reporting)
- Ability to manage multiple programmes simultaneously
- Process improvement expertise
- Complex project delivery capability
- Agile project/programme management skills
- Experience with iterative product development
- Proficiency in project management & administrative software (e.g., Jira, YouTrack, Asana)
- Background in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Software/Systems)
- Methodical workload management with the ability to operate under pressure
- Ability to maintain a calm and stable approach from start to finish
