Programme Manager
Programme Manager | Vendor-Led Delivery, C-Suite Stakeholders, Multi-Million Programmes
Salary: £95,000 - £100,000 + 15% bonus Location: London Bridge (hybrid, 3 days/week in office, core days Tuesday & Thursday)
About the Role
A global financial data and pricing intelligence provider to the commodities markets is seeking a Programme Manager to lead one of the firm’s most transformative undertakings. This isn’t an ordinary maintenance function—it’s a complete rebuild of the core platform, delivering 80% of company revenue, with AI integrated at its foundation.
You’ll thrive in a fast-moving, flat organisation where programme managers engage directly with the C-suite, reporting into senior leadership, not buried in layers. Typically overseeing 2-3 live programmes at once rather than a singular brief, you’ll leverage your expertise across vendor-led complex projects, ensuring seamless transition and commercial outcomes.
The flagship project is a £4–5m, 15-month platform overhaul. Initially 80% outsourced via third-party partners (as of today), the team is strategically shifting half the workload in-house by the programme’s end. You’ll act as the primary point of contact, managing this vendor-team transition while aligning between delivery partners and internal stakeholders.
Beyond technical delivery, your portfolio may also include business transformation, market entry boffins, or commercial projects involving operations, finance, legal, and HR—bridging the gap without relying solely on engineering.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
