Markets Operations AI Transformation Programme
The Markets Operations AI Transformation Programme is a multi‑year transformation programme aimed at fundamentally redesigning how Markets Operations serves customers, manages operational resilience, and automates controls at scale. The programme is a single, integrated transformation of operations process, spanning AI‑enabled customer service, controls automation, incident prevention, and agentic business process automation across LSEG Markets (FX, DSM, PTS, RRS, LCH Ltd, LCH SA).
Role Overview
The role requires an experienced Programme Manager who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, aligning senior stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Risk and Product, and translating strategic intent into executable plans with clear outcomes, controls and benefits.
Responsibilities
Programme & Delivery Management
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of defined work-streams within the Markets Operations AI Transformation Programme, from mobilisation through to scaled rollout and benefits realisation.
- Work includes:
- Customer query AI delivery
- Controls automation
- Agentic and low‑code business process automation
- Redesign of customer reporting through modern alternative technologies
- Maintain integrated delivery plans covering AI, automation, operating‑model change and controls, ensuring dependencies across work-streams are actively managed.
- Track progress against milestones, risks, issues, and benefits, escalating decisively where delivery, resilience or regulatory outcomes are at risk.
- Manage cost effectively.
Stakeholder & Governance Management
- Act as a central coordination point across Markets Operations, Markets Engineering, AI & Cloud Enablement, and Risk, ensuring alignment.
- Prepare materials for senior governance forums, including Markets COO / MLT updates, Investment reviews, and Steering Committees.
- Ensure delivery is executed within existing governance models for operational resilience, audit, and “human‑in‑the‑loop” AI deployment.
Change & Adoption
- Support change management activity across Markets Operations teams, including readiness planning, communications, training coordination and transition to run‑state.
Benefits & Outcomes Focus
- Own benefits tracking and outcomes realisation for the programme, including:
- Capacity creation (FTE efficiency)
- Reduction in manual processes and controls
- Incident avoidance and resilience improvements

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
