What You’ll Do:

As a Programme Manager, you will manage a portfolio of programmes to ensure customer success and meet revenue targets. You will work directly with our sales and capture teams to plan and manage all aspects of assigned programme(s), such as scope, deliverables, impact on the business, resources, profit and loss, product strategy, account reporting, and support to higher level portfolio objectives. You will be responsible for coordinating multiple projects to meet programme objectives, build the associated resource loaded execution plans, and oversee the detailed financial, schedule, and performance processes to assure programme success.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Execute programmes cross-functionally to ensure customer success and deliver results, impress the customer, to drive organic growth and follow-on sales.
  • Conduct analyses and situational reporting to ensure that contracts are being executed within negotiated scope while ensuring successful business outcomes for both Slingshot and our stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements throughout all programme phases.
  • Provide clear recommendations to Product, Engineering, and Astro teams.
  • Manage complex relationships and associated contracts with client(s), Primes, and Subcontractors to successfully deliver on our commitments to maintain trust within the industry.
  • Utilize professional judgment, critical thinking skills and research to improve program processes and resolve issues affecting programme performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of the responsibilities listed above).

Pre-Requisites

  • Must be eligible to obtain or maintain UK Government Security Clearance

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Programme/Account Management or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar technical field.
  • Previous Space Acquisitions or Space Operations experience.
  • A strong understanding of the UK Space sector.
  • Deep knowledge of programme management tools and best practices.
  • Experience working integration efforts.
  • Skilled in working with matrixed teams.
  • Skilled in collaborating with data scientists and software engineers.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with Cloud Computing systems and environments.
  • Experience working through security and accreditation processes to include security control frameworks and authorization packages.

Preferred Skills

  • Professional experience with the UK Space Agency, UK Ministry of Defence & UK Space Command
  • PRINCE2, PMP or similar certification
  • Active UK Security Clearance
  • A strong understanding of the UK SDA sector
  • Experience with SDA sensor systems
  • Experience with core sales tools: Hubspot/Salesforce, Netsuite, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office Suite
