Program Quality Lead – Limerick, Dublin or Belfast
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Program Quality Lead – Limerick, Dublin or Belfast, a role which will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation along with helping to maintain our core ethos here at Sysco – keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.
Execute initiatives, manage projects and lead FSQA programs that assure suppliers are in compliance with Sysco program requirements. Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of and/or compliance of suppliers to Sysco food safety and brand supplier standards.
Lead the food safety and quality assurance (FSQA) supplier approval and compliance process and a cross functional team to develop and improve new and existing Sysco-branded supplier programs.
Interact with customers to comprehend and support requests for information regarding suppliers’ compliance to Sysco programs.

Key Accountabilities:
- Lead, execute and promote FSQA Sysco Brand Supplier approval process.
- Conduct FSQA approval audits of established Sysco branded suppliers to assess their ability to meet Sysco requirements for food safety & quality.
- Issue concise verbal and written reports relative to observations and recommendations to cross functional stakeholders.
- Conduct FSQA audits (second party) of approved Sysco Brand suppliers, including evaluations of Sysco brand products with follow-up corrective actions to suppliers and Sysco Corporation.
- Provide formal verbal/written communications to internal and external cross functional stakeholders that document supplier compliance and performance to Sysco Brand requirements.
- Create, implement and manage supplier programs that ensure food safety and product quality/consistency.
- Monitor websites/publications to identify food safety, regulatory changes, alerts, or actions by regulatory agencies relative to supplier food safety.
- Domestic and International travel is required. Travel may be required up to five (5) days per week. Travel after normal work hours and/or weekend days may be required.
- Key member of FSQA team with responsibility for Product assessment / approval for Sysco Own Brand.
- Aide and assist the Technical Team in day to day duties as required.
- Carry out in-house Training where required.
- Ensure records are maintained in accordance with corporate and auditing standards.

Requirements:
- Third level qualification in a recognised food /science/quality required.
- 3+ years' experience in a similar quality position.
- Experience developing and implementing QMS systems.
- Experience carrying out Internal & Third-party auditing is essential.
- Internal / Third party auditing qualification will be beneficial.
- Knowledge of food related law and industry standards.
- Understanding of customer requirements.
- Good communication and influencing skills.
- Be a highly motivated individual with can do attitude.
- Be a team player with ability to work on own initiative.
- Demonstrates integrity and accountability.
- Customer focussed with excellent communication and computer skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally required.
