An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Security Lead to join our Defence business in Bristol. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily security operations for our newest Defence programmes.
What you will be doing:
- As part of the Programme Security team, support the day to day security activities associated with Defence programmes including the administration of programme security budget and schedule.
- Support the planning, coordination and execution of programme security standards and requirements, managing compliance against the GovS 007 Security policy.
- Lead on the creation and maintenance of operational security procedures, work instructions and local operating instructions, including our satellite locations.
- Coordinate security management plans, the security management processes and security risk registers to support compliant security outcomes.
- Where required, interface on security topics with National and International partners and government agencies.
- Support the Programme Security Team in the event of a programme compartment/facility security incident, breach, or emergency.
- Support security investigations, maintaining appropriate records and reports, and linking into the Defence security team.
- Maintain awareness of current and future changes in government and company guidance or legislation that may impact on the local operating procedures and work instructions.

Who we’re looking for:

- Has a sound knowledge of UK security regulations, UK MOD security policies and understanding of the principles of security management.
- Good understanding of project management (Budget, scheduling, risk and reporting).
- Good influencing and communication skills, including training planning & delivery.
- Ability to work collaboratively both internally and externally across the UK and International programme enterprise driving operational delivery.
- Preferably experienced in handling Government classified assets and Government security standards.
- This role will require you to hold a Developed Vetting (DV).

Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Please be aware that the priority will be given to employees identified as being at high risk.
The professional level and the salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate. It is advised that you inform your current manager of your application for this role.
