About The Role

We are seeking a committed Programme Tutor - Beauty and Nails to support the effective delivery of College services and priorities, strive for excellence in teaching, supporting learning, and assessment, and work as part of a team in the Department.

You will also be responsible for organising teaching, support, and learning for a specific assignment of learners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure learners are set targets that add value, enable stretching learning goals, and are provided with the necessary support to assist them in successfully completing their programmes.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets within the area, while contributing to regular monitoring and achievement tracking.
  • Develop innovative and stimulating teaching, learning, and assessment materials tailored for a range of delivery modes. Commitment to teaching and learning development (e.g., peer observation and professional development).
  • Design and deliver a flexible and relevant range of provision, including prep-for-work skills, to meet the needs of employers and communities in Oldham.
  • Adhere to College policies and procedures, including compliance with safeguarding and equality commitments.

Skills & Experience

We seek candidates who can demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience for vocational teaching roles.
  • Experience working with young people in a learning environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver teaching, learning, and assessment that meets required quality standards, while supporting learner progress and achievement.
  • Qualifications:
    • Certificate in Education (CertEd).
    • GCSE Maths and English (grade C/4 or equivalent).

Interviews to take place: Week Commencing 20th July 2026.
