About The Role
We are seeking a committed Programme Tutor - Travel and Tourism to shape students’ futures in the industry. This role will support the delivery of College priorities, promote excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment, and collaborate within the Retail & Commercial Department.
Key Responsibilities

Student Progression:
- Set learner targets aligned with stretching learning goals, ensuring support is provided to secure programme completion.
- Monitor and contribute to departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and target achievement.

Curriculum Development:
- Prepare materials/activities for independent and differentiated learning, including access to relevant course resources.

Administrative & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate administrative records (e.g., exam entries) to meet internal and external standards.
- Adhere strictly to College policies and procedures, including safeguarding, equality, and anti-discrimination commitments.

- Marketing & Engagement:
- Support departmental and cross-college marketing and promotional activities.
Skills And Experience
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in vocational teaching roles.
- Experience working with young people in learning environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
- Either:
- A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in a trade-related subject, or
- A Level 3 (or higher) academic qualification for pedagogical credibility.
