Role Description

The Programme/Events Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering 400 events annually, including 20 in-person from concept to completion.

On a day-to-day basis, this role:

  • Develops event timelines
  • Manages budgets
  • Oversees logistics such as vendor coordination, venue arrangements (including virtual platforms), and participant communications

This role tracks key metrics, prepares post-event reports, and continuously improves processes based on feedback and performance data. The position requires proactive problem-solving, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a remote setting.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in program and event management, including planning, execution, and post-event evaluation.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management, client communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency with digital tools for remote work and event delivery (e.g., project management software, virtual event platforms, video conferencing tools).
  • Solid organisational and time-management abilities, with a track record of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Analytical skills for budgeting, tracking event metrics, and preparing clear reports and summaries.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills to respond to changing requirements and unexpected challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Previous experience in Events Management, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous remote work experience and familiarity with global or cross-cultural teams is beneficial.
  • Experience with marketing or promotional activities related to events is an advantage.
