About the Role
The Department of Management at LSE is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, efficient, and hardworking individual to assist with front-line services for students and faculty in a fixed-term position (18 months) covering a secondment.
As the Programmes Co-ordinator, you will provide administrative, student event, and reception support to the Department. This role encompasses a range of key responsibilities, including:
- Responding to applicant and student queries
- Assisting with student events delivery
- Uploading learning materials to the online platform
- Supporting student submissions and examinations
- Operating the Department Reception desk
A "can-do" attitude, strong customer focus, and excellent organisational skills are essential.
Salary & Benefits
- Annual salary range: £32,890 to £36,052 (pa, inclusive of London allowance)
- Potential progression to £38,422 (pa)

Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to students and faculty
- Manage front-line reception duties to greet and assist visitors
- Handle student and applicant inquiries with clarity and efficiency
- Play a key role in delivering student events, from coordination to logistical support
- Ensure timely posting of learning materials to the online platform
- Coordinate student submission and examination processes
- Maintain attention to detail in all tasks, prioritising accuracy and organisation
Requirements
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong IT skills
- Some office environment experience, ideally with:
- Reception/front-line service experience
- Experience managing events or workshops
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and professional services
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
