About the Role:
We are seeking to add to our Materiel’s team and appoint a Progress Chaser. Candidates should ideally have experience working in an aviation (preferably an MRO) environment and demonstrate a flexible, proactive approach to managing teams’ ever-changing priorities—ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and return unserviceable and unused parts from Bays to Stores and Goods Out/Dispatch.
- Issue and review import and export instructions to customs agents, ensuring documentation adherence.
- Check unserviceable part tag information and update as required.
- Input parts data into Envision software.
- Generate daily customer unserviceable part reports.
- Monitor the return status of exchange core parts and parts on repair to prevent additional costs and delays.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to agree on costs of repaired exchange cores and parts on repair.
- Collaborate with departments such as check management, stores, goods in/out, and commercial to ensure timely spares delivery and capture of high costs.
- Assist the accounts team with invoice queries.
- Develop strong partnerships with suppliers to expedite purchase orders, achieving minimum lead times.
- Update production teams and customers on expected delivery times for aircraft checks.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements
Candidates must have:
- Experience working in a stores setting.
- Strong ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently when required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple departments, customers, and suppliers.
- Knowledge of customs import/export procedures would be advantageous but is not essential.
