Most organisations review care.
We review lives.
At Harris James, we believe every person deserves to feel that life is still moving forwards.
We’re looking for someone who can recognise progress, celebrate achievements, ask thoughtful questions and help people discover what’s possible next.
This isn’t a traditional care review role.
It isn’t about ticking boxes, completing paperwork or checking whether services are still being delivered.
It’s about helping people continue living the life they want to live.
If you naturally encourage people, notice the little things that others miss and genuinely enjoy seeing others succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
About Harris James
Harris James exists to help people live independently, confidently and well for as long as possible.
Everything we do is built around relationships, not routines.
We don’t measure success by the number of visits delivered.
We measure success by the difference we help people make in their own lives.
As a Progress & Possibility Partner, you’ll become one of the key professionals responsible for ensuring every Harris James relationship continues to evolve as people’s lives change.
What You'll Be Doing
Every day will be different, but your role will include:
- Holding meaningful Progress Conversations with the people we support and those closest to them.
- Celebrating achievements before discussing future goals.
- Helping people identify new aspirations and opportunities.
- Recognising changes early and adapting support before problems develop.
- Working alongside our wider Harris James professionals to continually improve people’s lives.
- Measuring meaningful outcomes rather than simply reviewing services.
- Helping shape the future direction of each person’s Harris James journey.
This isn’t purely an office-based role

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
To have truly meaningful conversations, you first need to know the people behind them.
That’s why this role includes spending regular time alongside the people we support, delivering elements of direct care and support. This allows you to build genuine relationships, understand everyday life, appreciate what’s working well and identify opportunities that simply can’t be seen from paperwork alone.
We believe the very best Progress & Possibility Partners are those who understand people’s lives first-hand.
Because of the nature of our service, alternate weekend working is an essential part of this role, ensuring you remain connected to the people you support and the colleagues delivering outstanding care every day.

- Build trust easily.
- Ask thoughtful questions.
- Notice subtle changes in people.
- Enjoy coaching and motivating others.
- Take pride in helping people achieve meaningful goals.
- Can confidently make decisions whilst knowing when to seek support.
- Believe people should continue growing, regardless of age or circumstance.
Experience within health, social care, coaching, rehabilitation, occupational therapy, community support or customer-facing relationship roles would be beneficial, but equally important is your mindset, values and genuine passion for helping people thrive.
What you’ll need
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence using digital systems and mobile technology.
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Flexibility to work across the community, including alternate weekends.
