About the Role
A growing organisation is seeking an experienced Project Accountant to support a number of finance improvement and systems-related initiatives. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior finance stakeholders to strengthen reporting, enhance financial processes, and support ongoing business transformation activities.
As a Project Accountant, you will:
- Support finance transformation and improvement projects across the business.
- Review existing financial processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control.
- Analyse financial and operational data to provide meaningful business insights.
- Work with stakeholders to resolve reporting challenges and improve information quality.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and project performance reporting.
- Support the development of management reporting and business intelligence outputs.
- Help drive greater adoption and optimisation of Dynamics 365 across finance processes.
- Contribute to month-end activities, reconciliations, and financial governance initiatives.
- Partner with operational teams to improve financial visibility and commercial decision-making.
- Participate in systems enhancements, testing, and process documentation where required.

- ACA, ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience working on finance systems, ERP, or business improvement projects.
- Experience in a project-led role.
