Project Administration Assistant
Location: Bidder Street, London, E16 4ET
Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Working Arrangement: Office-based initially (5 days per week). Hybrid working may be available following successful training and performance review.

About the Role
Morson Edge is recruiting on behalf of UK Power Networks for a Project Administration Assistant to join a busy and supportive team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working within a team of eight, you will provide vital administrative support to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with compliance requirements.
The role requires someone who is quick to learn, highly organised, and capable of managing their own workload independently. Due to the nature of the work, strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes accurately are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage invoices accurately and within required timescales.
- Support the Quotations & Delivery Planning team with a range of administrative tasks.
- Update and maintain internal systems and records.
- Manage incoming work through Outlook and ensure actions are completed promptly.
- Organise and maintain electronic project folders and documentation.
- Move and archive files within internal systems in accordance with company processes.
- Liaise with internal departments to obtain information and support project delivery.
- Ensure all administrative activities are completed in line with compliance and quality standards.
- Manage your own workload and diary to meet deadlines and business requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Previous administrative experience within a busy office environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise competing workloads.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple departments.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent administrative and data-handling skills.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience using SAP (particularly SAP CP1 or similar SAP systems).
- Experience working within a compliance-driven, regulated, or process-focused environment.
