About The Role

Project Administrator

This part-time (0.6 FTE) post is offered as a fixed term contract and is funded by Wellcome Trust until 01 Feb 2028. In line with the University’s fair employment for all principles, any further funding opportunities identified will be reviewed and discussed during the contract.

Applications for secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager.

Salary will be £30,628 per annum pro rata on Grade D subject to knowledge, skills and experience.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.

We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements.

This role is to provide essential frontline administrative support to the project’s participants and academics, including high-quality administrative support to key priorities. The role ensures the frontline delivery of the project in a timely manner ensuring that the Calming Minds Project is delivered to deadlines. Given the frontline business support nature of this role, the post holder will be expected to respond to, manage and follow up on a diverse range of queries from a variety of internal and external stakeholders in a compassionate and professional manner.

You will be joining our team at an exciting time as we continue to deliver the Calming Minds Project, a flagship Wellcome Trust project awarded to the Professor Ed Watkins. You will be responding to enquiries from a varied group of individuals, across different enquiry channels, including live chat and phone lines. You will particularly be supporting the potential participants troubleshoot any issues they come across in enrolling on the project. You will have a focus on responding to enquiries, and supporting people with differing levels of IT literacy to enrol on online project.

About You

We are looking for a proactive individual with a natural instinct for excellent customer service, who prides themselves on their ability to provide a positive, supportive, and nurturing customer experience. Ideally you will have experience of handling enquiries across a variety of channels and experience in working in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.
