About the Role
Department: London East Hire And Service Centre Employment Type: Permanent Location: Purfleet, Botany Way, Purfleet, RM19 1RR Reporting To: Marc Fisher Compensation: £24,000 – £29,000 per year

As a Project Administrator, you will provide administrative and documentation support to project delivery teams, ensuring accurate records, effective communication, and smooth coordination to deliver projects on time, to budget, and to quality standards.
Role Details
- Annual salary up to £29,000 (dependent on experience)
- Permanent contract
- +2.5% annual on-target bonus
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + option to purchase 5 additional days leave

- Administering and maintaining all correspondence, documentation, and records tied to project delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Assisting with project documentation, including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Drawings, and Delivery Schedules.
- Supporting project budget monitoring by tracking planned and actual costs.
- Processing project reports and initial assessments to assist in creating accurate project quotations.
- Liaising with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to enable projects to be completed within agreed timescales and assigned budgets.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate project documentation and reports, ensuring stakeholders receive clear updates on progress, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- Qualified to GCSE level (including Mathematics and English at Grade 4 or above), or an equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in an administrative or coordination role is essential.
- Familiarity with Health and Safety requirements is desirable.
- Technical experience with business systems (e.g., SAP or CRM software) is desirable.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers.
