About The Role

At Balfour Beatty, we're delivering some of the UK's most significant power infrastructure projects, helping to connect communities, support the transition to net zero and strengthen the nation's electricity network.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our team supporting the EGL2 project based in Market Weighton. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a major infrastructure project, providing essential administrative support to project, engineering and delivery teams while working closely with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

As a Project Administrator, you'll provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support across the project. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing project administration activities to support the successful delivery of the EGL2 project.
  • Processing procurement and financial transactions, including purchase orders, goods receipting and P-Card administration.
  • Coordinating plant and equipment requirements, including raising orders, monitoring utilisation and arranging off-hire activities.
  • Managing travel and accommodation bookings, including hotels, trains and specialist transport requirements.
  • Supporting transport administration, vehicle allocations and associated charging processes.
  • Maintaining project documentation, records and evidence files to support compliance and audit requirements.
  • Assisting with training administration, including booking courses, maintaining training matrices and monitoring compliance requirements.
  • Producing and distributing regular project reports and trackers.
  • Maintaining registers for calibrated equipment and other compliance-related records.
  • Supporting facilities management and general site administration activities.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for project administration, liaising with project teams, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
