Project Administrator – UK Robotics and Autonomous Systems (UK-RAS) Network

The University of Manchester, a leader in robotic development for extreme environments, has established the Manchester Centre for Robotics and AI and seeks a Project Administrator to support the UK Robotics and Autonomous Systems (UK-RAS) Network.

Primary Responsibilities

The successful applicant will assist the Project Manager in delivering high-quality administrative support across the UK-RAS Network, including:

  • Providing broad and varied administrative assistance to the wider robotics team in Manchester.
  • Developing and preparing detailed reports to inform the Network’s strategic direction.
  • Organising and facilitating meetings, events, and workshops efficiently.
  • Handling procurement logistics and coordinating project-related expenditures.
  • Assisting with marketing and communications efforts to promote the Network’s activities.

About the Team & Role

The UK-RAS Network, founded in 2015, focuses on:

  • Establishing academic leadership in robotics and autonomous systems.
  • Fostering collaboration with industry partners.
  • Coordinating research and knowledge exchange within the field.
