Architects, Senior Architects & Technicians/Technologists

Nottinghamshire

A growing Nottinghamshire architecture practice is hiring across multiple levels. A pipeline packed with large-scale residential and development work, a young and informal studio culture, and an active growth story with more offices on the horizon.

They're primarily looking to hear from Project Architects, Senior Architects, and Technicians or Senior Technologists. They'd consider Architects at the newly-qualified end for the right candidate.

The work spans large-scale residential development, plus recent moves into BTR and PBSA. If you've worked with national developers on schemes that go from concept all the way to on-site, they'll want to talk.

What the roles involve, day to day:

  • Taking live projects across the full RIBA lifecycle, from 0 to 5 and into construction on site.
  • Working on schemes that actually reach the ground, not just planning submissions. There are projects in construction right now.
  • Producing and coordinating design and technical packages.
  • Contributing to a collaborative studio, in-office three days a week minimum.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What they're looking for across the levels:

For senior roles:

  • Proven track record leading or running large-scale residential, BTR or PBSA schemes with national developers or comparable clients.
  • Genuine interest in the residential development space.
  • Collaborative, communicative, and up for being in the studio.

Why this is worth a look:

  • A studio built around work/life balance in a genuine way: no overtime, enforced lunch breaks, 37.5-hour weeks, 27 days holiday plus bank holidays plus a festive shutdown (roughly 38 days in total).
  • Private healthcare, and a package that reflects the level.
  • Young, informal, and stable. High retention, low turnover, and monthly one-to-ones for wellbeing.
  • Growth trajectory: two additional offices planned over the next 12 months, so genuine progression potential for the right people.
  • Weekly food and snacks, social events, and a summer sports day.
  • Regular mentoring opportunities, including university links, plus senior-to-junior mentoring internally.
