Planform Architects are looking for experienced qualified Architects to join our ambitious creative team in delivering a growing portfolio of projects.

The Job

Successful applicants will have relevant recent UK experience and will be proactive professionals with a drive to deliver high-quality and innovative project outcomes within the financial constraints.

We work closely with clients, contractors, and other consultants within wider multi-disciplinary teams. Being approachable, professional and confident in communication is key to the role.

A full UK driving licence is desirable because successful applicants will be required to attend site meetings as part of their involvement in our projects across Scotland and rest of the UK.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • ARB registered with job running experience of RIBA project stages from inception to completion.
  • Portfolio should demonstrate creative design ability and strong technical knowledge.
  • Strong working understanding of current Scottish Planning Policies, Building Regulations/Technical Standards, and CDM Regulations.
  • Capable of producing high quality planning, building warrant and construction information packages, ensuring compliance with relevant CDM Regulations, Planning Policies, Building Regulations and other standards.
  • Can work both independently and collaboratively within a small, supportive in-house team environment.
  • Capable of liaising effectively with other consultants in wider multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and contractors, to ensure delivery of projects that meet clients requirements.
  • Proficient in working with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketchup and VRay.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
