PROJECT ARCHITECT - LUXURY RETAIL

The Role

ML Projects is a growing architecture and project management practice based in Bermondsey. We specialise in luxury retail fitouts for global brands, delivering full RIBA Stage 3–6 services across Europe. Architectural design and project management sit under one roof, which means our architects carry genuine commercial accountability alongside design responsibility.

Project Architects are our delivery engine. You will lead two or three concurrent luxury retail fitouts from concept through handover, owning the drawings, specifications, consultant coordination, statutory approvals, and site delivery. You work autonomously, with a Part 2 Assistant to direct and a Design Lead to escalate to on strategic decisions.

Retail is fast-paced and exacting. Programmes are tight, brands have uncompromising standards, and no two sites are the same. This role suits someone who enjoys site time, moves fluently between client conversations and technical documentation, and owns project outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
