Job Description – Project Architect
Job Title
Associate Architect (Part 2 or 3 Registered) CIAT Technicians also Considered

Hours of Work
Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Working Pattern
- Four days per week in the office.
- One agreed day per week working from home.
- Flexibility may be required to attend client meetings or site visits.

Purpose of the Role
The Project Architect will support the Director in delivering projects across all RIBA Work Stages while progressively taking ownership of project management, consultant coordination and client relationships. This role offers significant responsibility and an opportunity to become a key member of a growing boutique practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects through all RIBA Work Stages.
- Produce planning, Building Regulations and construction information.
- Coordinate structural engineers, M&E consultants and specialist consultants.
- Prepare planning applications.
- Produce technical drawings and specifications.
- Attend client meetings and site inspections.
- Administer contracts where appropriate.
- Monitor project programmes and budgets.
- Ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality standards.
- Mentor future junior staff where required.
- Contribute to practice development and business growth.
- Maintain compliance with all statutory and professional obligations.
Person Specification
Essential
- ARB registered Architect (Part 2/3 or CIAT qualified).
- Excellent AutoCAD and/or Revit skills.
- Excellent Sketchup proficiency.
- Strong technical detailing ability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Full UK driving licence.
